Shipping Policies


We do not send our packages "signature required". If you would like this option, please let us know in advance when your order is placed. Sometimes, even though we ship signature not required, the FedEx driver has the right to leave a call tag instead of the package if they do not feel comfortable leaving the package.


Blowing Rock Woodworks ships our furniture white glove.  Please observe additional shipping time of 3-4 weeks for this service as it ensures a safe delivery of your one of a kind piece. 


Shipping: Please see below to see which territory you’re located in. Our shipping includes delivery to the first floor, if you’re not located on the first floor please message us to get a quote.

Territory A FREE: Alabama, DC, Delaware, Florida, Florida Keys, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Michigan, Mississippi, North Carolina, New Jersey, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia and West Virginia. This will be a white glove delivery company.

Territory B $100: Arkansas, Connecticut, Iowa, Louisiana, Maine, Massachusetts, Missouri, New Hampshire, New Brunswick, New York, Rhode Island, Texas, Vermont, Wisconsin. This will be through a private carrier, you may need to assist during unloading. They will assemble the legs onto the piece.

Territory C $200: Colorado, Kansas, Minnesota, Montana, Nebraska, New Mexico, North Dakota, Oklahoma, South Dakota, Wyoming. This will be through a private carrier, you may need to assist during unloading. They will assemble the legs onto the piece.

Territory D $350: Arizona, California, Idaho, Nevada, Oregon, Utah, Washington. This will be through a private carrier, you may need to assist during unloading. They will assemble the legs onto the piece.

**If you’re located in Alaska or Hawaii message for a quote**

  Transit time ranges from 20 - 35 days - No weekend or Holiday delivery.  This service requires an adult over the age of 18 to be available for in home delivery and set up.  Arrangements will be made prior to delivery with the white glove service directly.  

BRWW operations will begin the scheduling for pick up while your item is being built.  Pick up of your item once complete can take 10 - 14 business days depending on many factors including weather, available space, weight, base or leg options to name a few.  

If your furniture arrives damaged beyond repair you should refuse your shipment. If you do not refuse the shipment you have accepted the piece as is, with the damage. Your shipper takes complete responsibility for each item upon pick up from our shop and certifies it in perfect order.  They inspect it several times in transit and assume all responsibility for repair if it is damaged.  If you furniture arrives with minor but acceptable damage please make note on your delivery receipt.  Your shipper will repair this damage to your satisfaction.


LTL service is available to commercial clients and select locations only.

Please make sure you have help to bring your crate inside. Your LTL Freight shipment will be secured in a crate with protective packaging, and high-grade straps to help prevent damage during transit.  The shipment will arrive on a semi-truck. The semi-truck will have a lift-gate is instructed to bring the pallet to ground level. Be sure to inspect for damage or shortage with extra scrutiny.

Please note: When you sign the driver’s delivery receipt, you are acknowledging receipt of all products in good order. Before signing the delivery receipt, it is important that you follow the procedures outlined below:

Inspect the boxes and their contents for visible damage. If any damage is suspected

open the boxes carefully for further inspection.  If any damage or shortage is discovered, do not sign the delivery receipt and refuse the shipment.
You as the customer have both the right and responsibility to inspect the goods before acceptance.  If the goods arrive damaged and delivery is refused, we will file a claim with the carrier.  All payouts will be dependent on the outcome of the claim.  Freight claims can take 60 - 120 days to settle.


Any additional shipping costs incurred due to negligence or unresponsiveness on the part of the receiver (AKA “Consignee”) will be due to Blowing Rock Woodworks. prior to delivery. If these costs are not paid, or if the carrier is unable to deliver the shipment for the reasons stated above, your shipment will be returned to us. You will be responsible for all fees incurred including re-consignment and additional transportation charges.
